Name that Department

We've been holding a contest to see who could come up with the best name for our newly combined department. MTW is infamous for using crazy acronyms so we did not vere from the norm. Here's some of the entries discussed at today's staff meeting:

STEP- Short Term Equipping and Preparing

Julie's:
City - Combined (or Co-working) Internship and Two Year

Daniel's:
ACTS-Ambassadors of Christ Through Service

Bill's (he's the super-spiritual one using all the Biblical names. Yes, he even used Ecclesiastes):

SAUL – Servants Acting Under Love

SAMUEL – Servants and Missionaries Under Eternal License

OBADIAH – Only the Best (with) Actual Devotion in Action and Helps

PSALMS – Priestly Service And Loving Ministry Staff

AMOS – Action Midst Our Service

ECCLESIASTES – Evangelical Cross-Cultural Living (and) Ecumenical Servanthood Inside A State (of) Theological and Eschatological Supplication

And if the Acronyms won’t work, how about these?

ACOLYTES – Carrying the light of the Gospel forward…

NUMBERS – Its not really about number of units, is it…?

RAPTURERS – Aren’t we living for and working towards that moment?
