Because of Hurricane Katrina, gas supplies to the state of Georgia have been limited, and prices are expected to grow up to $4 a gallon. Not good news
To fill up the 12 gallon tank in my Nissan, it will now cost around $40.00.

My coworker Gina just tried to go get gas. She went to 8 gas stations and the lines were completely out of control. Someone also just tried to go to the Quik Trip down the road from our building and it was completely out of gas. To quote my new boss Jack, who managed to get gas earlier this afternoon: "I was just trying to save a few pennies. I didn't even know there was a panic." He just left with all of his gas. I told him he might need to siphon some off for the rest of us. Obviously this story took a turn for the worse in a mere 3 hours.
On a more serious note, please also pray for my cousin-in-law Stephen's family who live in Columbia, MS. It seems like Stephen's mom is fine but many of his friends and family have greatly damaged homes as a result of the hurricane.

Try and fill up the Suburban with these prices...Easy will hit a $100 to fill up.
As for Syephens family are prayers are with them and the rest going through the hurricane aftermath. Please let us know if there is anything we can do besides pray.
