There's been a patient this week at my internship who has really been struggling with whether or not to stay in the program. He's been processing his feelings though about it in groups and with counselors. On Monday when the counselor asked him how he was doing he said, "I think I looked at myself and I kicked myself's ass."
I couldn't help but laugh. He's right though. Way to go.
